      The radio presenter opted for a natural makeup look, while her blonde locks were styled poker straight. <br>She joined celebrities such as Green Wing star Stephen Mangan, McFly’s Harry Judd, Mark Wright and James Cracknell.<br> Fitness: pkvgames The Big Brother winner, 42, showed off her incredible figure in a pair of skin-tight blue leggings and a matching sports top<br> Good cause: She tackled the gruelling 26.2-mile course from Greenwich Park to the Mall near Buckingham Palace in a bid to raise money for the RSPCA (pictured with Chris Evans)<br>Before the mass event got underway this morning, there was a moving rendition of the national anthem in tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II, who died last month.<br>After the tribute the elite men and the mass group were set on their way by England Lionesses Leah Williamson, Ellen White and Jill Scott.<br>Many of those taking part will be doing so for charity, often with moving personal stories behind why they are putting their bodies through the wringer having spent months, and sometimes years, preparing for the big event.<br>As competitors make their way past the crowds they will also see the iconic landmarks of the capital, including Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, the London Eye, Westminster and of course, Buckingham Palace on the home straight.<br>Equally iconic are the now-famous fancy dress costumes that some runners will don as they take part, with giant sunflowers, Minions and even Big Ben’s Elizabeth Tower all set to draw attention as they make their way around the course.<br>The wheelchair races saw early success for the Brits as David Weir and Eden Rainbow-Cooper in the men’s and women’s races respectively.<br> Stars: She joined celebrities such as Green Wing star Stephen Mangan (right) and former TOWIE star Mark Wright (left)<br>It comes after Kate – who rose to fame as the winner of the third series of Big Brother on Channel 4 in 2020 – insisted Millennials’ ‘minds will be blown’ if they were to watch the show today amid plans for the much-loved reality series to make a comeback on ITV2. <br>Radio host Kate fondly recalled her days the famous reality television house, saying the the contestants were plied with as alcohol as they wanted, prompting lots of raucous and raunchy behaviour, which would totally shock the viewers of Love Island today. <br>She told : ‘I always knew it would come back, and I’m so excited for its return to see the reaction of Millennials. There’s now this whole new generation of kids who’ll be watching it for the first time… <br>’It was at a time in reality TV when producers didn’t ration alcohol because there hadn’t been any serious bust-ups that involved the police being called!'<br>She added: ‘With booze comes drinking games. There was so much spin the bottle, I snogged everyone — I think.’  <br> Delighted: Kate told The Sun : ‘I always knew it would come back, and I’m so excited for its return to see the reaction of Millennials’ (pictured for Big Brother in 2002)<br>Created by John de Mol and premiering in the Netherlands, Big Brother hit UK screens in 2000.<br>Craig Phillips won the first season with Brian Dowling triumphing on the second, before Kate went on to become the first female winner on the third series in 2002.<br>A number of British spin-offs were created, including Teen Big Brother, Ultimate Big Brother and the popular Celebrity Big Brother.<br>In 2011 the programme moved from Channel 4 to Channel 5, but it was eventually cancelled in 2018 after the 19th series, three years after Love Island – popular with today’s younger generation – arrived on ITV2.<br>Kate claims that Big Brother bosses told them to be careful with any sexual interactions they had in the house, insisting they had to hide their actions.<br>But she added: ‘By series six no one cared at all and it was like, “If they have sex then they have sex”, and they just didn’t care…<br> ‘It was a popularity contest, so any romance was a nice little extra. But there was no sex for me.'<br>Big Brother’s much-anticipated comeback was confirmed by ITV bosses earlier this month.<br>The original reality television juggernaut’s new UK home has been announced as ITV2 and ITVX, with a series set to air next year.<br>A cast of carefully selected housemates from all walks of life will take up residence in Britain’s most famous television house for up to six weeks, with cameras capturing their every move.<br>The house will be given a contemporary new look for the reimagining of the iconic series. <br>It is hoped audiences will be gripped as the contestants take part in entertaining tasks, tense nominations and live evictions.<br>The housemates’ fate will once again be in the hands of the Great British public as they vote throughout the series, ultimately determining who will walk away with a huge cash prize and be crowned the winner.<br> Comeback: While a host is yet to be announced, the reality television juggernaut’s new UK home has been announced as ITV2 and ITVX, with a series set to air next year (former host Davina McCall seen on the show in 2002)<br>
